Ganekal Shivaiah was a legendary violinist and an accomplished drama director, admired for his artistic brilliance. One evening, after concluding a drama performance, he was stopped by four thieves who demanded his money. Instead of reacting with fear, Shivaiah calmly requested them to listen to his music for thirty minutes. As he played the violin, the soothing and soulful melody deeply touched the thieves. Moved by his art and gentle nature, they refused to take his money and asked only for his blessings. Shivaiah, with great compassion, gave them the money himself and encouraged them to start an honest livelihood, thereby guiding them away from a life of crime.
Taranath was a noble and fearless man known for his kindness and service to humanity. He established a shelter for underprivileged children, offering them free education and care. His selfless work earned him respect even from foreigners, one of whom gifted him a watch that he never used. One day, a boy from the ashram stole the watch and sold it to a businessman. When the police arrived to arrest the boy based on a complaint, Taranath intervened and told them that he had sent the watch for repair through the boy. The police left without taking any action. Overcome with guilt, the boy confessed and wept. Taranath forgave him and advised him to study hard and become a responsible individual, showing that compassion can lead to true change.
