Yako Gotilla – A Child’s Innocent Questions
Yako Gotilla is a poem that captures the innocent curiosity of a child as he wonders about the world around him.
He looks at his father, who is so tall, and his mother, who is tall too—yet he remains small. Why? He doesn’t know!
His father wears a coat, his mother drapes a saree, but he is dressed in shorts. Why? He doesn’t know!
His father goes to the office, his mother cooks at home, but he has to go to school. Why? He doesn’t know!
His grandfather reads the newspaper, his grandmother watches serials, but none of these interest him. Why? He doesn’t know!

I. ಪದಗಳ ಅರ್ಥ ಬರೆಯಿರಿ. (Write the word meaning)
