My Kodaikanal Trip
During the last summer holidays, my family and I went on a trip to Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal is a beautiful place in Tamil Nadu. I was happy to see the cool climate, green hills, and the sky full of clouds.
On the first day, we visited the famous Botanical Garden. There were many types of flowers, plants, and trees there. I was happy to see the beautiful colored flowers.
We ate hot corn on the side of the road there. We also ate the famous Kodaikanal chocolates. The chocolates were very good.
After that, we took a boat ride in the Kodaikanal lake. While riding the boat, the surrounding hills, trees, and the cool breeze made my mind happy. The happiness and laughter of the people during the boat ride made the trip even more beautiful.
We stayed at the “Great Trails Resort” in Kodaikanal. That resort is very beautiful. It is located in the middle of the forest. The food provided there, the rooms, everything was very good. The clouds seen from the window in the morning are an unforgettable experience.
This trip has left me with many memories. The nature of Kodaikanal, the friendliness of the people will always be remembered in my life.
ನನ್ನ ಕೊಡೈಕೆನಲ್ ಪ್ರವಾಸ
ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜಾದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕೊಡೈಕೆನಲ್ ಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದೆವು. ಕೊಡೈಕೆನಲ್ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಸುಂದರ ತಾಣ. ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ತಂಪಾದ ವಾತಾವರಣ, ಹಸಿರು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು, ಮೋಡಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಆಕಾಶ ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು.
ಮೊದಲ ದಿನ ನಾವು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಬೋಟಾನಿಕಲ್ ಗಾರ್ಡನ್ಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದೆವು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ರೀತಿಯ ಹೂವುಗಳು, ಸಸಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಮರಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು.
ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಿ ಬಿಸಿ ಜೋಳ ತಿಂದೆವು. ಕೊಡೈಕೆನಲ್ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಚಾಕೊಲೇಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ತಿಂದೆವು. ಚಾಕೊಲೇಟ್ಗಳು ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
ಅದಾದಮೇಲೆ ನಾವು ಕೊಡೈಕೆನಲ್ ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಣಿ ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು. ದೋಣಿ ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು, ಮರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಂಪಾದ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು. ದೋಣಿ ಸವಾರಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ಸಂತೋಷ, ನಗು ಪ್ರವಾಸವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿಸಿತು.
ನಾವು ಕೊಡೈಕೆನಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ “ಗ್ರೇಟ್ ಟ್ರೈಲ್ಸ್ ರಿಸಾರ್ಟ್”ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೆವು. ಆ ರಿಸಾರ್ಟ್ ಬಹಳ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾಡಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಆಹಾರ, ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಕಿಟಕಿಯಿಂದ ಕಾಣುವ ಮೋಡಗಳು ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ಅನುಭವ.
ಈ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ನನಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಕೊಡೈಕೆನಲ್ ನ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ, ಜನರ ಸ್ನೇಹಭಾವ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ನೆನಪಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
