Jaana Aame, the intelligent turtle, lived in a quiet lake but always dreamed of flying like the birds. One day, it befriended two gentle swans who often glided gracefully across the sky. Seeing the turtle’s desire, the swans came up with an idea. They brought a long, strong stick and held it firmly at both ends. They asked Jaana Aame to bite the middle of the stick tightly and warned it not to open its mouth during the flight.
Excited, the turtle agreed. As the swans lifted the stick and soared into the sky, Jaana Aame felt thrilled. It saw the glowing sun up close and enjoyed the cool breeze brushing against its shell. Below, some naughty children noticed the turtle flying and shouted, teasing it that it would fall any moment. Feeling proud, the turtle tried to say, “Don’t be jealous! Bye!”
